A flavorful and spicy Thai-inspired salmon dish with chili and garlic, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Thai red chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic, Thai chilies, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, and ginger.
  3. Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Season salmon with salt and pepper, then sear skin-side down for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
  5. Flip salmon and pour the chili-garlic sauce over the fillets.
  6. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
