- 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 cup cooked white or brown rice
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- Season salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tbsp butter. Cook salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, melt remaining butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in sriracha, soy sauce, honey, and lemon juice. Simmer for 1 minute.
- Return salmon to the pan and spoon sauce over it. Cook for another minute.
- Assemble rice bowls by placing rice in a bowl, topping with salmon, and drizzling extra sauce. Garnish with parsley and sesame seeds if desired.
