  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb pasta
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Cook until soft.
  3. Add ground beef. Cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, and red wine.
  5. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  6. Add milk, salt, and pepper. Cook for 15 more minutes.
  7. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  8. Serve sauce over pasta with Parmesan cheese.
