Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix beef, pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, milk, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and parsley.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  6. Serve with pasta, marinara sauce, or as desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
  • Do not overmix the meat to keep it tender.
  • For extra moisture, add 1 tbsp olive oil to the mixture.
