A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish tossed in garlic-infused olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook spaghetti until al dente.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until garlic is golden.
  4. Drain pasta, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.
  5. Toss pasta in the garlic oil mixture, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Season with salt and garnish with parsley and Parmesan.
