Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium watermelon, cut into 1-inch thick triangles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional: Fresh mint for garnish
  • Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush both sides of the watermelon slices with olive oil.
  3. Arrange the watermelon slices on the hot grill.
  4. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear and the watermelon softens slightly.
  5. Remove the grilled watermelon from the grill and sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint and a drizzle of balsamic glaze, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the watermelon in lime juice or honey before grilling.
  • Do not overcook the watermelon, as it can become mushy.
  • Grilled watermelon pairs well with feta cheese or a light salad.
