Ingredients
Scale
1 large head cauliflower
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower. Trim the bottom stem, ensuring the core stays intact.
Carefully slice the cauliflower into 3/4-inch thick ‘steaks’ from the center. You should get 2-3 good steaks. The remaining florets can be grilled alongside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak generously with the marinade.
Place the cauliflower steaks on the preheated grill.
Grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until tender-crisp and slightly charred.
Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure the cauliflower core remains intact when slicing to keep the ‘steaks’ together.
Adjust the spices to your preference; add a pinch of cayenne for heat.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
