A quick and simple beef stir fry that you can make in under 30 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef strips (sirloin or flank steak)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  2. Add beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic, bell pepper, onion, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  4. Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, ginger, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Return beef to the pan and pour sauce over. Stir well and cook for 2 more minutes.
  6. Serve hot with rice.

Notes

  • Slice beef thinly for faster cooking.
  • Use any vegetables you prefer.
  • Adjust soy sauce to taste.
