2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg
1/4 cup marinara sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Pound chicken breasts to even thickness.
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Beat egg in a separate bowl.
Dip chicken in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
Lightly spray air fryer basket with oil.
Place chicken in air fryer and cook for 10 minutes.
Flip chicken, top with marinara and mozzarella.
Cook for another 5 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Notes
Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
Check chicken internal temperature with a meat thermometer.
