Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

A rich and creamy pasta dish with tender chicken, garlic, and parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the sauce.
  • Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if you prefer a lighter version.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
