A creamy and delicious fusion dessert combining the richness of cheesecake with the smooth texture of flan.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar (for caramel)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown to make caramel. Pour into a 9-inch round baking dish.
  3. Blend cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla.
  4. Pour mixture over caramel in the baking dish.
  5. Place dish in a larger pan filled with hot water (water bath).
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set.
  7. Cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Invert onto a plate before serving.

Notes

  • Use room temperature ingredients for smoother blending.
  • Water bath prevents cracking.
