Crispy, lightly sweetened banana chips made in the air fryer with cinnamon and sugar.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, to prevent browning)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Slice bananas into thin rounds and toss with lemon juice if using.
  3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Arrange banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the bananas.
  6. Air fry for 8 minutes, flip slices, then sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar.
  7. Air fry another 6-8 minutes until crispy.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas for best results.
  • Thinner slices yield crispier chips.
