  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, water, and black pepper.
  6. Return beef to the pan and pour the sauce over.
  7. Stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve hot with rice.

Notes

  • Slice the beef against the grain for maximum tenderness.
  • Adjust sauce thickness by adding more cornstarch mixed with water if needed.
  • For extra spice, add red pepper flakes or chili oil.
