A quick and easy recipe for tender BBQ pulled chicken made in the Instant Pot.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add chicken, BBQ sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the Instant Pot.
  2. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing.
  3. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  4. Allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
  5. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix with the sauce.
  6. Serve on buns or over rice.

Notes

  • Use your favorite BBQ sauce for best results.
  • For spicier chicken, add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
